With extensive experience in development and integration affairs in Latin America, Tomás has worked as an international advisor in public and private organizations and has an extensive background in consulting and project management in gender and diversity, financial inclusion, impact investment with a gender focus and sustainable finance. At Pro Mujer, he has previously worked as Coordinator of the Gender Knowledge Lab and held the position of Project Manager in the Business Development department.
Georgia holds a degree in law, a master's degree in Teaching for Higher Education, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Gender-Based Violence, Public Policies, and Social Movements. Georgia excels in coordinating educational projects and initiatives that promote a gender perspective within a diversity, equity, and inclusion framework. Over the past decade, she has been an advocate for issues related to the inclusion of women and other marginalized identities, leaving a positive impact on over 21 Latin American countries.
Graduate in Political Science and Public Administration from UNAM and Master in Gender from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has worked in government, civil society organizations and as a consultant on gender equality issues, especially in the mainstreaming of the gender perspective and inclusion in the workplace.
Bachelor's degree in Administration (UNLaM), with a Specialization in Innovation (IAE Business School), and a Master's Degree in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (London School of Economics). She has worked for the past 10 years in the public, private, and third sectors promoting financial inclusion, quality education, social entrepreneurship, and impact investments. She currently serves as a Project Manager at Pro Mujer, advocating for gender-lens investing in Financial Institutions across Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
Beatriz earned a master's degree in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies in the United Kingdom. She boasts significant experience in assisting organizations in integrating the gender perspective into their projects, policies, products, and services, thereby facilitating their transformation into gender-smart entities. In addition, Beatriz has extensive experience as a consultant and in the educational sector, where she dedicated herself to researching and training leaders in the design of inclusive and diverse organizations.
Jacinta is the Global Lead for the Social Enterprises and MSMEs area of Pro Mujer's Gender Knowledge Lab, to promote gender equality with organizations in the region. With experience and training in the United Kingdom, she has extensive experience in climate and impact finance (Make My Money Matter), social impact policies (BBC) and a Master's Degree in Social Policy with a specialization in Gender (London School of Economics). Previously, she worked as a civil servant specializing in communications and political strategy in the Buenos Aires City Government.
Ana Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Journalism from the University of Colima and has a Master's degree in Women's Studies from the University of Costa Rica. She has worked in the government sector, in civil society organizations and as an independent consultant. During her career of more than 15 years, she has participated in projects that promote the economic empowerment and human rights of rural women, indigenous women and refugees. She has extensive experience in political advocacy on gender issues and in the prevention, attention and eradication of gender-based violence in public institutions and in agricultural sector businesses.
The Gender Knowledge Lab brings together a team of experts from diverse nationalities, backgrounds, academic training, career paths, languages, and skills. They collaborate to develop innovative solutions that drive gender equality transformations across Latin America.
In Latin America, as in other regions of the world, inequalities that place women and other population groups in disadvantaged and vulnerable situations prevail. We believe that promoting gender equality is an effort that can be carried out from different areas, ranging from communitarian to institutional approaches.
